~Our First Look~

I am posting some of our First look pictures. I walked in the front church doors while he waited in the front of the church. He was facing towards where the choir would sit so he could not see me walk down until I tapped his shoulder. I will never forget that moment. It was the most intimate sweet moment I could ever imagine. I was walking down toward my future.. toward my husband to be. It was so quiet and just David and I were in there (of course the photographer was allowed in). So david could here my dress swooshing toward him. He was patient on me walking down... I am proud of him for not turning around! :)When I tapped his shoulder he just started crying, turned around and held me, cried, I cried, he looked at my dress, we held each other for a good 10 minutes. I prayed. He cried.I cried. Then we started our day together in peace and most emotions out the window. It was a great choice for us! The best moment of the day! Well.. the vows and ceremony were also the best! :) I will post more soon, I am sure!

Today I am making some more earrings.. I will post later on. I am also going to spray paint some lamps and eat lunch with husband, work out, maybe tennis.. clean, pack... Going to the beach this weekend!! yay...Busy day!

Flea Market find-2

Good Afternoon! I am posting our new flea market treasures today.. We love them. Not sure what to use paint the magazine rack..thinking a green or a yellow? Any suggestions? We also bought this trinket box for our bathroom to put cotton balls in it. We got both of these for 20$! I
had a great day at work today and now watching David play tennis.. aka teach tennis! I love watching him. I got an email from my wedding photographer with some of our first look pics. I am going to upload those asap. They are breathtaking to me.. because it brings me back to that exact moment. Here is one of them.

It has been a wonderful day. God is good.

Day off means a productive day at Home

Good afternoon! I started my day by drinking a big cup of coffee and relaxing! I read the Word and some of my new decorating book. I love this quote that was in and had to take a picture of it.. It is so fun being a couple where you can bring both personalities out in your home. I bought the book and now have it as a coffee table book. It is an awesome decorating book. I am starting to collect those for future ideas when we get a house and also for decoration under lamps, tables, coffee tables, etc. They are a great thing to display in my opinion. :)

On another note, I have the day off so I cleaned and went to the bead shop... (Oh yeah, I took a bead class so I can learn to make jewelry). Today will be my first day to try to make some earrings. I made some 4th of July earrings for me.. They are not the best but they are good for my first go round! ;-)

I am also going to try to play some tennis.. I have had a few lessons and love it. Such a great sport to get in.. you can play "forever", keeps you in shape, and keeps you "awake". I love being married to a tennis pro. He is a great teacher.. Very patient with me! Well there is my agenda today.. :)

Flea Market Finds- 1

We are slowing down a little.. and starting to look for hidden treasures for our apartment. We went to a flea market in Flowood and found an amazing chair for 4o dollars! We fell in love, took it home, cleaned it, and now it is a fun chair for David to sit in and drink his coffee.. Oh and read :) We still have to clean the material a little more but I think we are going to keep the fabric that is on it.. as of now. We might up holster it later but we love the original look.

We also found these milk glass salt and pepper shakers at a flea market in Homewood, AL. I also got a small tin tray to put them on. We got all three for 10 dollars! Yippie!! It sits in the middle of our pub table. We love.

Meet Virginia.. Now Mrs. Misner

Wow it has been a while since I have had time to sit, reflect, and write! Oh how I have missed it... I am not the best writer.. most of my stuff is random thoughts.. But hey.. thats me :)

As of March 12, 2011 I am now a wife! I am Mrs. Ginny Misner.. I love being married. I love everything about it. I have the most wonderful husband who treats me with the upmost love and respect a woman can ask for! We love spending every second together that we can and I am so thankful for every second we do have together. He is my best friend and soulmate. (Yes, I believe in Soulmates). Our wedding was the most perfect day any bride can ask for.

I kid you not...it was surreal. It was the perfect weather, perfect photographer, had my girls beside me,family,friends I felt like a princess in my flowy dress, the ceremony was filled with God's Grace and Love. The church was candlelit and filled with greenery. There was a vintage mirror when you walked into

the foyer of the church with candles and flowers on a table. To the left was my photo guest book that I made from our engagement pictures. I loved it. My bouquets were wild flowers that we could bring to the reception. The reception was at an antebellum home with a tent full of candles, mason jars, vintage books, and modern lanterns. I went for a soft, romantic vintage feel. We had an awesome DJ who made us wear our dancing shoes (mine were my gray converses) ,the best food anyone can ask for, a wonderful videographer who worked so hard. We danced the night away and had a sparkler farewell. Even the limo driver was amazing. I am telling you.. it was perfect. The atmosphere was better than I could have ever expected. The Lord was filling every place we went with His presence. His hand of protection was over the whole weekend. You could just feel Him. It was awesome and truly the best weekend I have ever had. The rehearsal dinner was filled with emotions.. Tears were shed at every table..It was an intimate, sweet time for everyone. It was like one big hug :) My Mother in Law worked so hard on it. It was the most wonderful rehearsal dinner I have ever been to or will ever go to. I am so thankful. I am going to post a few of my favorite pics so you can see the "vibe' of the big day! It was so magical!

I hope everyone is doing great.. I can't wait to update our moments as a couple on here.

A moment with my God

Today I had a great "Spiritual" day. I was able to see things in a different way and was able to see God's sovereignty in my life. I had a great walk and prayed the whole time and I am so thankful for that moment in time.

It is like you have this one on one moment with Your GOD and you have so much to talk about and tell but you don't know where to begin to even talk about it.. And then you continue that excitement and feeling to a human being that is the closest to you and you still do not know how to explain it..I love those intimate, gorgeous times!

Well all I know is I am so thankful for today and the peace the Lord has given me and where He is taking me!

UPDATE on David and I:

David and I have our first wedding shower this weekend. We are very excited about it! We just have to make sure we do thank you cards as soon as it is over! ha.

We also signed the lease to our very first apartment together. I will be moving in March but he will be moving in November. So he will get it cozy for me and we can start decorating together! we are excited. God is good.

Wedding.. and HONEYMOON!

Well Lets see.. I ordered my GORGEOUS wedding dress..picked out the bridesmaid dresses.. booked the church and the reception..Have my hair place booked and makeup girl coming.. I am in the process of picking out shoes.. Setting up dates for our pre marriage counseling.. ordered the save the dates and looking for apartments! We are also ready some great Christian books on marriage!! OHHHH and we booked the honeymoon!!! I am so excited. David picked out a great Sandals resort and got us a beachfront room. We will be able to watch the sunrise and sunset from our room! I am so excited and so ready to start my life with David! I decided I am going to start a blog on our first year of marriage! I am not sure what I am going to name it yet but it will be full of our first year adventures together! I will be moving to Jackson very soon and I am so ready! So keep looking back for new updates on things.

I have tons of wedding planning to do so let me get back to that I just wanted to give my blog a little note! My online journal :)
